Friday 16th of November from 18:00 to 21:00, at Magazzeno Art Gallery (via Magazzini Posteriori 37, Ravenna), inaugurates the exhibition “Passage”, double personal exhibition by Gabriele Grones (Arabba, 1983) and Matteo Sbaragli (Forlì, 1980), edited by Alessandra Carini.
The exhibition links the two artists, who dialogue on the portrait with very different techniques and formats. The first through a metaphysical hyper-realism on a small format and the second, encroaching on a large-scale figurative expressionism. The two artists mastered exceptional techniques and entered the art market in a stable and profitable manner.
An exhibition that is important for the city and for the new Italian painting that boasts two internationally renowned artists: Grones has already exhibited at the Venice Biennale and the National Portrait Gallery in London and Sbaragli has been an exclusive artist for years for the famous Opera Gallery, founded in Paris in 1994 and with offices all over the world.
Catalog edited by Federico Bellini, Alessandra Carini and Alberto Giorgio Cassani.
